SWAIN CHAPMAN, CCIM

As founder and owner of three companies providing real estate services since 1979, Swain is a seasoned Investment Advisor who understands the dynamics associated with creating and enhancing asset value. After investing 15 years as the cofounder of Chapman Lindsey Commercial Real Estate Services, Swain created Chapman Management Group to focus his strengths on acquisitions and asset management. Swain continues to abide by strict business policies that serve the best interests of investors and clients.
With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Swain has participated in the acquisition of hundreds of acres of commercial land and over three million square feet of commercial properties. He has served as a broker and trusted advisor to institutional clients for office and retail developments throughout Arizona, and built a strong national network of industry leaders and financial partners.
Specializing in investment brokerage and redevelopment opportunities, Swain has directed projects such as the renovation of the Pioneer Building and contributed to the acquisition and redevelopment of the Desert Vista Campus, the Northwest Campus, the Community Campus and Downtown Campus for Pima Community College.
He holds the prestigious CCIM designation, is a past president of the Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter and is the Political Liaison to Congressman Ed Pastor on behalf of the National Association of Realtors, and has served in that capacity for the past 19 years. Prior to Congressman Pastor’s election, Swain served as the liaison to the Honorable Morris K. Udall.

TOM TRIGG

Tom spearheads acquisitions of property, such as hotel sites for national hospitality franchisors, and recently participated in the facilitation of a major joint venture on the Valley Fair Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah for Coventry Real Estate Advisors. Since he joined Chapman Management Group in August of 2005, Tom has successfully completed significant land transactions with his tenacious, can-do approach to business.
Prior to joining the Chapman team, Tom was a retail specialist with CB Richard Ellis where he was responsible for the sale and leasing of more than 1,000,000 square feet of retail property in Kansas City, and represented clients such as AT&T, Developer’s Diversified and Harrah’s Casinos.
He has consistently achieved above market tenant occupancy for owners and his retail background has enabled him to identify creative opportunities for tenants and owners alike. Tom’s leadership and experience creating successful co-tenancies and repositioning anchor spaces brings value to both sides of any transaction.

CHERYL M. BERRY
Senior Property Manager

Cheryl’s specialty at this point in her career is the management of high-rise office buildings, including the Unisource Energy Tower in Tucson, Arizona. Since assuming responsibility for the 241,000 square foot property in 2001, Cheryl has managed the construction of approximately 120,000 rentable square feet of office space, as well as the refurbishment of over 32,000 square feet of occupied space. Major mechanical upgrades have also been accomplished under Cheryl’s supervision, recently resulting in the Tower being awarded the prestigious Energy Star by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Cheryl managed a $4,000,000.00 renovation project for Chapman Management Group at Tucson’s historic Pioneer Building prior to accepting her present position at the Unisource Energy Tower. During 2000, property enhancements at the Pioneer resulted in a tenant occupancy jump from 45% to 96%.
Over the course of her career in the commercial real estate industry, Cheryl has worked in various capacities including association management, marketing and public relations. She coordinated the opening of a 1.2 million square foot regional shopping mall for Dreiseszun Morgan in Kansas City, Missouri, and executed the repositioning of a second million square foot shopping center in Independence, Missouri for LaSalle Partners (now Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.).
Cheryl’s industry expertise, high professional standards and strong leadership contribute immensely to the Chapman legacy and continue to bolster the Chapman team for future success.

With a career commencing in the hospitality industry, Batoun recognized the importance of superior customer service, and successfully incorporated the practice into her daily real estate operations. Batoun has over fifteen years of property management experience in hotel management, multi-family, and government subsidized housing. In addition, she has extensive experience in the disciplines of retail, office, industrial, and office condominium management.

JENNIFER L. SNYDER

With over 20 years experience in accounting, management and banking, Jenna served as a Portfolio Manager, at one of Northwest Tucson’s largest Active Retirement communities and two communities along Oro Valley’s prestigious golf course. Jenna holds a certification with Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM). She is also a member of the nationally recognized Community Associations Institute (CAI).
In addition to her real estate experience, Jenna has extensive experience in the mortgage underwriting business and was Director of Operations for a Tucson mortgage broker. She is a Certified Foreclosure, Short Sale/REO specialist with a GREEN (energy conservation) designation. She is a member of Tucson Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Jenna serves on the (AACM) Outreach Committee that offers aid to homeowners and associations under duress. She is a native to Tucson and volunteers for multiple community events throughout the area such as fund raising and feeding the homeless. |

ERIK CHAPMAN

In 2005, he worked for a real estate appraisal firm where he was instrumental in developing a software program that not only improved the workplace efficiency but has since been embraced by the appraisal industry. Erik joined Chapman Management Group in 2007 and has continued to apply his leadership abilities, innovation and no-nonsense approach to great success. He is currently completing his B.A. in Business Management for the University of Arizona and is currently responsible for several assignments in a number of our major properties. Erik continues to learn the business "from the ground up" by coordinating shop development and coordination between tenants, architects and contractors. |
